Professional Goals

My first goal is to continue my professional learning. I will further my knowledge by continuing to read relevant research and articles, attend professional development in the area of literacy, and eventually purse a doctoral degree in education.

My second goal is to design and implement reading interventions to meet the needs of all learners. I want to continue to work with students in the field and help other educators best serve students.

My third goal is to share my expertise with others in my field. I plan to mentor and coach other educators. I also hope to publish original work in a peer reviewed journal. I want to present for my colleagues in the field of reading.

My fourth goal is to evaluate and create district wide literacy curriculum. I hope to bring a balanced literacy approach to every classroom across my district.
